Free junk
Anyone want free book/cd/dvds/games etc. ?

I signed up to bookmooch.com a few weeks ago. (My page here - request something!) So far I have already received 9 books, and there are another 12 on the way! I love that site.

Today I found another site: Swapshop.co.uk (My page here- less stuff because I only just created the account lol). It seems to work on the same principle as bookmooch.

You put up stuff to swap, someone request it, you accept, you get points, you send the item(s) off (you have to pay postage yourself, but that's it) and then with those points you then request other stuff.

So I thought I'd share with you all, because everyone loves free stuff. ;)

P.s. I think the swapshop site is just for UK residents, but I found a US one a little while ago... if I find it again, I'll post the link. (or if someone else knows one post it in a comment!)

Thanks for passing on the BookMooch tip -- I think I'll join up, for books within Australia, at least (to limit postal costs). It sounds like a great idea!!

You're all over the place these days! I was puttering around del.cio.us and saw your screename (and was like, is that who I think it is? It is! *friend*). Small world.

Lol! Yeah, I seem to have an account everywhere these days. I'm just one of those people who can't help but sign up for things. :p
