(my life is a misery, and can't you, I'm at the start of a pretty big downer...)

I hate trains. And taxi services.
This is what happened:
Tuesday night - I ask at Premier Inn reception for local taxi phonenumbers. I call and book a taxi for the next day at 2pm.
Wednesday 2pm - No taxi.
Wednesday 2.10pm - Phones taxi company (where's the taxi?! my train leaves at 2.50!)
Wednesday 2.15ish - Taxi driver informes me that he can't get to the road I told him to meet me on due to roadworks. *stares at car going past me* Agree to meet at another road anyway.
Wednesday 2.40pm - AAAAHHH imgonnamissthetrain!
Wednesday 2.42pm - Phone a different taxi service
2.50 - Taxi arrives (2nd one) yey! But have missed me train. Oh noes.
3.00pm - Arrive at train station. Buy new ticket for train at 4.20pm.
4.20pm - train is late.
4.30pm - Train!
7.05pm - Arrive at Edinburgh station. Have missed connecting train (was at 7.00pm)
7.10pm - Complain, along with 20+ more people who also missed connecting train.
7.12pm - Get given free food voucher (yum), compensation claim booklet, and a new free ticket for train at 9pm.
9pm - Get on train.
9.05pm - Train guy says train is being delayed.
9.30pm - Train finally starts.
11ish - Arrive in Durham.

Next day:
7am - Get up for college.

Ugh.
