Psychology exam (PYB4 one anyways) is over! I didn't revise for it. I couldn't find the motivation. However, I think it went relatively well. Only one question completely threw me but it wasn't worth many marks and hardly anyone else seemed to know the answer (re: people running out of room at end of exam, grabbing friends and screeching for them to tell them what the answer was. Stress = scary)
I have two exams left. They are the hardest ones that I have this year (Psychology PYB5 and Philosophy/Ethics Synoptic paper), and the gits decided that they would be on the same day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Bastards. I haven't revised yet but I really really need to. They're on monday. I have time. Sort of.
Enough negative shit. Got to focus on good things! Like my awesome new laptop. I walked into PC world to see if they could find what was wrong with my CD drive on the other one. Basically, it was dead and I needed a new one. Which I would have had to have bought somewhere else and then paid them £70 to install. Fuck that for a shitty old laptop. So, I got a new one. I can actually play Sims on this one without it dying on me! How fucking awesome is that? =D
Also I ordered three books from that sale
I posted about, and they arrived today!
I got:
World Religions Today by John L. Esposito , Darrell J. Fasching, and Todd Lewis.
How We Act: Causes, Reasons, Intentions by Eric Berent
The Bible in History: How the Texts Have Shaped the Times by David W. Kling.
Also, in about 2/3 weeks I will be on my way to Brazil for a month. I am both looking forward to it and completely dreading it at the same time. The only person I am out to is my grandmother. The rest are too overtly religious. :p
Heck, some of them are priests.
Anyway, I'm knackered so I'm signing off now.
